Question by Cutie: Can I lose 2 pounds a week eating 1400 calories a day?
I am trying to lose weight and want to know how many calories I can have to lose about 1-2 pounds a week. That is all I want to know. No other advice is needed
I know that I need to exercise as well. Do I need to cut back to 1200 or is 1400 enough? I am about 5’6″ and currently weight about 210.

it depends on how much you exercise but it should be fine
Try 1400 calories at first, after about three weeks to a month try 1300, then 1200.
it doesnt matter how many you eat as long as you burn off 7000 more for each pound you want to lose. you do the math. you could eat 15 000 calories a day though and still lose weight if you worked out enough

How much you can eat is dependent on how much (and how hard) you are exercising. The more you work out the more you can eat.
How much are you eating now and is your weight stable at that level of calorie intake?
You need to use a calorie calculator to determine how many calories you need to be taking in. Try this one, or just google calorie calculator.

You need to take your desired weight and multiply it by 7-so if your desired weight was 200 then yes, 1400 calories/day-but I doubt thats your desired weight since you’re starting out only 10 pounds more than that.

Day 1:
